Thank You!

Hi everyone,

This is a somewhat boring post, and I promise not to do this too much, only when Mallory In New York reaches a major milestone. The last time I wrote a Thank You post was when my baby blog reached 100 followers (See: Happy 100!), which was definitely MAJOR. My next goal? 200.

But, the topic of this post is irrelevant of followers. Instead, its about another milestone important to every blog, perhaps more than followers: Page views. The amount of page views
a blog gets is far more important than the amount of followers, as it shows that people are actually interested in what you're writing, rather than just blindly following.

Since its creation last August, Mallory In New York has grown rapidly. I first thought of the title when I was still living at home in Florida, looking forward to the days when I would arrive in the best place on the planet, New York City. I wrote one single post in August, and then never had the time or motivation to write a second.

Well, that changed in January, when I began my first internship, that required me to write every. single. day. Not that I had a problem with that. After all, I love to write, but I just needed something to get it started. I began simply copying and pasting posts from JoonBug onto Mallory In New York, and I continue to do that, but now, I write far more original posts for the blog itself. I want to look back in 5 years and say, That's what I was doing right at that moment, and look where I am now.

The amount of page views has been increasing like crazy since I first began Mallory in New York. Here are some numerical equations to help you understand:

January = August
February = 175 X January
March = 3 X February
April = 2 X March

I'm not using actual numerical values, because I don't want to be in contest with other blogs. It may not seem like a lot, but Mallory In New York is already at a huge amount of page views, and to actually double the amount in March? Well, that's simply unbelievable.

Thank you so much to all of my readers who follow, comment, and read my posts! It means the world to me!!! :)
