9 Sample Sales You Won’t Want To Miss!

As every fashion-forward shopper knows, samples sales are key when trying to keep up with the latest trends without breaking the bank! Beginning today, there are nine awesome sample sales throughout the city that are sure to make you- and your wallet- smile! Happy shopping!

1. JF & Son. Get up to 40% off on the duo’s Fall collection. 10 % of the total sale will go to the Red Cross in their efforts for Japan Relief. The sale begins today at noon, and lasts until 8 PM Wednesday. JF & Son is located in the East Village at 56 University Pl., at 10th St.

2. J Rosen Showroom. Just in time for Summer, J Rosen Showrrom is offering up to 70 % off designer swimwear, cover-ups, and sandals. Designers include Brette Sandler, Debbie Katz, Tkees, and Cocobelle. The sale begins today and lasts until Friday at 7PM, at the showroom at 231 West 39th Street, between Seventh & Eighth Avenues, suite 1101.

3. Rachel Leigh. Rachel Leigh’s Manhattan location is offering up to 80 % off on in-store merchandise, beginning tomorrow at 10 AM until Thursday at 5 PM. We recommend her famous bangles ($15) and cocktail rings ($25). The sale is located at 252 West 38th Street, between Seventh & Eighth Avenues, suite 902.

4. Ted Rossi. Beginning Wednesday at noon, Ted Rossi will be offering up to 70 % off on Swarovski crystal jewelry, handbags, and leather goods. The two-day sale lasts until Thursday at 6 PM, and is located at 15 East 30th Street, between Fifth & Madison Avenues, suite 300.

5. Tucker & Felix Rey. Beginning Thursday at 9 AM, the blowout sale will be HUGE, with vintage pieces marked down to $25 and tops, dresses, and jumpers marked down 40 %. Also, Felix Rey handbags will be starting at $25. The sale lasts until Saturday at 6 PM, at 413 West 14th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues, suite 403.

6. Erica Weiner. The much-acclaimed jewelry designer’s signature pieces will be marked down up to 40 % beginning Friday at noon and ending Sunday night at 8 PM. Erica Weiner’s store is located at 173 Elizabeth Street, between Spring & Kenmare Streets.

7. Elie Tahari. Perhaps the biggest sale of them all, Elie Tahari’s sale event kicks off April 12th at 8:30 AM and ends April 16th at 5 PM. The blowout offers up to70 % off the entire men’s collection, as well as women’s leather jackets for $297 (reg. $1,198), sequin dresses for $129 (reg. $598), and patent peep toes for $98 (reg. $298). Elie Tahari is located at 510 Fifth Avenue, at 43rd Street.

8. Charlotte Ronson. An undisclosed percentage of the profits from Charlotte Ronson’s sample sale will benefit Japan Society’s Earthquake Relief Fund. The sale will include chiffon dresses for $80, crew-neck sweaters, twill shorts, and skirts for $60, and rope-print tanks for $40. The sale begins April 13th at 10 AM, and concludes April 15th at 7 PM. Charlotte Ronson is located at 1071 Sixth Avenue, between 40th & 41st Streets, suite 301.

9. Katherine Kwei. Katherine Kwei’s sample sale is offering hundreds off selected merchandise, including leather purses, clutches, and totes. The sale begins April 14th at 10:30 AM, and concludes April 15th at 7:30 PM. The showrrom is located at 611 Broadway, at Houston Street, suite 742.

Balenciaga Explores A New Product Category This Fall!

















Balenciaga gave retailers and editors an up-close look at their Fall collection this morning in their Paris showroom. The silk and faux leather black jacket and vests that opened Balenciaga’s Paris show last week were among the other Fall must-haves. The vests will retail for $10,000, but the 7-pound jacket most likely will not be produced.

Among the handbags and surprisingly heavy outerwear was a product category new to Balenciaga- dog leashes and collars! These new designs were inspired by designer Nicolas Ghesquiere’s chocolate Labrador named Fred, and will be available in rose, yellow, green, and orange come this Fall. Made from calfskin and vegetal leather, the leashes and collars will retail between $275 and $295. Now, all we need is a dog…

Beyond The Rack is definitely fueling our addiction today, as they unveil three new boutiques that are loaded with incredible bags and wallets! Here are our top picks from each boutique:

1. Balenciaga is a brand that very, very rarely goes on sale, so we're especially excited about it! Balenciaga's wide variety of bags are priced hundreds below their original retail price, and they seem to be going fast! We love the Classic Pompon Bag In Papeete ($1200, left)

2. Bottega Veneta brings us a wide selection of clutches in bright colors and metallics, all of which are almost half off! But even better than the bags is the adorable Thin Woven Leather Bracelet in Purple ($99)- it features high-quality bright purple leather braided into and intricate design that just screams hippie-chic!

3. Ava Rose Handbags brings a little of everything- handbags, totes, wallets, and key chains, all with chic designs of puppies, diamonds, cupcakes, hamburgers, lips, bikinis, and so many more! I almost think their products are a bit too good to be true- they're priced extremely, extremely low, not that we have a problem with that! Our favorite? The Scot the Scottie Wrist Strap Clutch in Black ($29.99)! It's so adorable, we can't resist!

Online Sample Sale Site HauteLook Began Major Sales Today On Cosmetique, Hackley & Jamison, And Absolutely Everything Juicy Couture!

The title pretty much says it all! Today, HauteLook unveiled seven new fabulous boutiques that are definitely a must-see! Below, I've described what each offers and listed my favorites. Enjoy!

Hackley & Jamison. The popular clothing label brings us tons of fun spring looks at rediculously low prices! The Hackley New Basics Dress ($38) is beyond adorable!

Cosmetique. I can't even begin to explain my thoughts on the Cosmetique boutique- you have to see it for yourself! Cosmetique is selling coordinating sets of makeup in adorable bags for crazy-low prices! Originally priced at $98, the Arabella Stuart Belle Fleur Beauty Collection in Red ($20) is my top pick!

Juicy Couture Watches. At 50% off, you can choose from a major selection of Juicy Watches! The watches are all extremely colorful designs. My favorite? The Rich Girl Pink Plastic Watch! ($107, left)

Juicy Couture Handbags, Wallets, and Shoes. At over 50% off, these Juicy accessoies are to die for! I fell in love with the Leather Crossbody in Red ($63) and the Cadley Riding Boots ($157)! Although this boutique offers traditional juicy looks, many of them have a much more elegant-chic look!

Juicy Couture Jewelry. This boutique offers the Juicy's famous jewelry trends, as well as some pieces that (dare I say it!) are far more interesting! I'm obsessed with the Faceted Stone and Floral Crystal Ring ($31), which features a large purple stone in a floral setting.

Juicy Couture Kids. With all these Juicy deals (pun intended!) you can't forget about the kids! Juicy Couture sweatsuits are adorable, but they're even cuter when they're mini! My favorite? The Juicy Couture Excellence Hoodie in Pink ($44). It's making me miss my tween years!

Juicy Couture Collections. This is the most sought out boutique- it's all the Juicy Classics! The Queen Wears Juicy Velour Hoodie ($52) In Pink is a must!
