Oscar de la Renta Gets Ready To Launch His Newest Fragrance

After years of absence from the glamorous world of fragrances, Oscar de la Renta is getting ready to re-enter- just in time for Mother’s Day! De la Renta is introducing a line extension, elegantly titled Esprit d'Oscar Eau de Parfum.

Esprit d'Oscar Eau will smell like lemon, bergamot, citron, jasmine, orange flower and tuberose. The scent will be available in 50 and 100 ml bottles, and will be priced from $78-$98.

The bottle (left) is a reinterpretation of the packaging of the original scent, which was launched in 1977. Esprit d'Oscar Eau de Parfum is also planned to be adapted into a body spray and scrub. Refusing to fade away, Oscar de la Renta has another fragrance in the works, set to be launched in September!

“It’s not that I ever abandoned the fragrance business,” says de la Renta. “But I’m really happy to be back in control of it, and we have plans to make it really great.”
